Ritz Carlton Wedding ~ San Francisco Wedding Photographer ~

This amazing wedding was truly East meets Midwest!  Amy and Spencer met at Michigan State University.  The wedding WEEKEND was here in San Francisco luckily for me.  In one day, in one amazing location, 300 people came together and celebrated with Indian flair, style and tradition and Western elegance and modern day takes on tradition.  The Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay hosted this event and planner Tejel Patel brought it together perfectly.  The florals by De Young Flowers captured all the nuances of both traditions from the traditional Indian garlands to the bride’s bouquet.  This is a wedding I’ll never forget! Living in the Bay Area and all it’s different peoples make me a very happy San Francisco wedding photographer.  It is never the same and often quite unique.

A Hindu Wedding at Beaulieu Gardens Napa ~Napa Wedding Photographer~

So now take two for Anita and Arun!  The initial ceremony at the Temple in Livermore  as I posted earlier was the full on ceremony.  This night at Beaulieu Gardens in Napa was a little more Western but still Hindu and just beautiful.  Paula Le Duc did an amazing spread of food that night.  There was a lot of fun and truly amazing.  Stacy McCain and Wesley did an awesome job of putting this together.  The flowers were by Cherries and the cake by Branching Out.  Amazing!

A Colorful Indian Wedding ~San Francisco Wedding Photographer~

This couple is hilarious.  I can’t say that enough.  Really I laughed so much during my 3 days with them and especially at the engagement session where I first met the groom.  He HATES his photograph taken so it was just fun to tease him and embarrass him to get him to just crack a smile.  But he took it in stride and said he actually did have a good time.  How was it going to go for him at the ceremony at the Shiva-Vishnu Temple in Livermore.  It was a beautiful sunny day and the ceremony, while I didn’t understand a word of it, was beautiful.  The ancient Hindu wedding customs and rituals are always interesting to watch and the colorful guests and family make for great images.  Next post is the wedding ceremony at Beaulieu Gardens in Napa!  Beautiful!

Sonya and Ali ~San Francisco Wedding Photographer~

I love what I do. No doubt about it. Sonya and Ali are one of the reasons why. I spent 4 days with them and each day saw something amazing, learned something new, made a new friend and had wonderful photo opportunities. Sonya was beyond beautiful and Ali cracked me up with his “I have no idea what is happening” continually throughout the nights and ceremonies. It was beautiful and their friends and families just amazing. It’s kind of nice when you say goodbye to someone who 4 days earlier was a total stranger and they kiss your cheek, kiss your hand and say you have a great soul. Well, I have to say the same to all of them and wish Sonya and Ali just the absolute best in life.
